What are the basic exercises in a dance bar?
There are three basic ballet movements, very briefly, we can mention:
- Tendu: Extension of a leg and foot (forward, back or to the side) without lifting the tip of the ground.
- Plie: Bending of knees. There are two types: Grand plie or full flexion of the knees (knees should be bent until the thigh is horizontal, according to in that position the feet do not rise) or Demi plie or half bending on their knees.
- Relevé: Refers to the elevation of the floor of the heels of the foot or feet of a dancer to perform a specific dance step. You can climb on tips or playmaker.
